Martin Luther King is rolling over in his grave.... Obama's speech today cemented the fact that he is not an American, he is an African American. I also now understand why Michelle Obama said several weeks ago that for the first time in her adult life, she is proud of this country.
I, am a fourth generation Swedish American, however, I believe in this country and consider myself an American, most proudly. Political correctness is now on the downfall after today, thank God.
It is about time that the American people stop patronizing each other. I have to give Senator Obama credit for the fact that he and Reverend Wright have brought us back in time to the 1960's. As a Republican, if we all stop whining about how unfair everything is, we just might accomplish that 'Shining City on a Hill'.
Lastly, I have to admit that I have great respect for the fact that Senator Obama spoke from the heart. I strongly disagree with his position and believe that he has now lost the nomination, but I still respect him for not backpedaling.
Expect another 1960's racism environment to come back again. God help us......
